Any word on when this will be available? Is there going to be a beta before release?

It's got a little delayed, as Iceberg wanted me to finish the German version of the game before they go on their summer hols. Hope to have it done by the end of the month though, and yes they're be a beta.

Quite a bit of useful work done on the ai already. Building more defences, founding colonies to extend range, pirate raiding, less timid when attacking etc.

If you've got a reasonable size game (ie one that doesn't take 20 mins for the ai turn) where the automatic transports are clearly misbehaving, then send it to me, and I'll take a look.
Otherwise, I'm not planning to do anything to them. They use the same algorithm as the AI uses, and the AI seems to spread its population around quite effectively, even if it doesn't do exactly what you expect in every instance.

Ok, i'll have a look tonight. My current game runs fast but have to check if the Automatic Transport has still problems as i put them on manual and then automatic again recentely.  Wink
