european retail version & patching

hi to all wanna be funs of this game
i've recently bought the boxed game from internet
it came with no cd key -neither on the manual nor in the box-installed it fine.
allthough i've 1.3.0.3version(probably the european release version), i've also down/ded it to and it asks a cd key!!
first time i've seen a patch ask for it.
how can i patch the game in the future?
even impulse wants a serial to register a game to get the updates.
which one; you?- matrix?- GG? will take the responsibility to support this game?
is there a way-( if all ather fail) for the buyers to learn their cd keys?

The European version of the game is published by Iceberg Interactive, and it'll be their responsibility to provide patches.

However, at the moment the European retail version is the most advanced version available, so there's no need to patch it.
